KRAFTON India has officially detailed the BMPS 2026 format. From a 64-team qualifier to the Jaipur Grand Finals, here is how the road to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh looks.
The stage is set for India's most prestigious professional BGMI circuit. KRAFTON India Esports has officially unveiled the comprehensive format and schedule for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2026. With a massive prize pool of ₹2 Crore+ and the added incentive of representing India at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Riyadh, the stakes have never been higher.
The 5-Stage Gauntlet 🏆
The tournament will feature a streamlined yet punishing 5-stage structure designed to filter only the most consistent squads:
- Qualifiers Stage (May 6 – May 31): 64 invited teams will be divided into 4 groups. Over 16 matchdays and 4 rounds, teams will battle through a promotion and relegation system to secure their standing.
- Survival Stage (June 2 – June 5): The top 32 teams from the qualifiers enter a round-robin format. Only the top 8 will advance directly to the Semi-Finals, while 24 teams are sent home.
- Semi-Finals (June 9 – June 12): 24 teams will compete in a double round-robin format. The top 6 teams punch their ticket directly to the Grand Finals.
- Last Chance (June 13 – June 14): Teams ranked 7th to 22nd in the Semi-Finals get one final shot. Only the top 2 teams will survive this 12-match sprint.
- Grand Finals (June 19 – June 21): The climax takes place at the Jaipur Convention Center. 16 elite teams (including 8 from Qualifiers Group A, 6 from Semi-Finals, and 2 from Last Chance) will play 18 matches to crown the champion.
The Ultimate Prize: Road to Riyadh 🇸🇦
Beyond the domestic glory, the winner of BMPS 2026 will secure a direct slot at the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) during the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. India has been allocated two slots in total, with the runner-up also highly likely to qualify for the global stage in August.

While the full list of 64 invited teams is being finalized, heavyweights like iQOO Soul, GodLike Esports, Orangutan, and Team Apex Gaming are already confirmed to be in the mix. After their recent BGIS 2026 victory, all eyes will be on iQOO Soul to see if they can maintain their streak and claim the Riyadh ticket.
